As he got older, he wanted to explore a profession connected to his roots — something his ancestors did, but in a more adventurous and modern way. That's how he stepped into the scuba diving industry.

Jeevan works as a Boat Staff and Kit-Up Specialist, ensuring divers are properly prepared before entering the water.

Coming from a fisherman background, Jeevan feels a strong emotional connection with the ocean. Working in scuba allows him to stay close to the sea while doing something exciting, safe, and skill-based.
He enjoys exploring the ocean and feels proud that his work continues the legacy of his ancestors — but in a modern, adventurous profession.

Jeevan says that working at Scuba Spirit feels like being with family. The management, colleagues, dive masters, ground staff, and boat staff are all friendly, supportive, and kind. He appreciates the teamwork and the trust everyone shares, which makes every working day enjoyable.
His Perspective on the Growth of Scuba Culture
Jeevan has seen firsthand how scuba diving has grown in Murudeshwar and Netrani:
- Around 15 years ago, companies from Goa used to bring foreign divers to Netrani.
- Over time, local interest increased, and local dive centers began operating.
- The diving culture in Karnataka expanded rapidly.
When actor Puneeth Rajkumar did scuba diving in Netrani, it inspired many Kannadigas and people from other states to come explore this adventure.
