Journey Into Diving
Growing up in Karwar in a traditional fisherman family, Naveen's earliest memories revolve around boats, tides, and nets. The ocean was more than scenery — it shaped daily life. When asked how he got started in diving, Naveen explained:
"I entered the industry as a kit-up boy. I didn't plan on becoming a diver. But I kept seeing divers return with stories of the underwater world. Slowly, curiosity took over."
Training & Growth
From learning basic equipment handling to completing his Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, EFR, and Dive Master certifications, Naveen built his career step by step.
"Every dive teaches me something new. Even after 10 years, there is always something I haven't seen before."
Most Memorable Dive
Naveen vividly remembers seeing a Whale Shark at Netrani Island — an experience that changed his perspective on underwater life.
"The Whale Shark came out of the blue. Huge but gentle. I felt lucky just to share the water with it."
