Anas's introduction to diving happened by chance. At age 18, his brother suggested trying a scuba session. The moment he took his first breath underwater, everything changed.

"I felt peaceful instantly. Everything became so quiet, and I knew I wanted more of that world."

He officially began professional training in 2022 and progressed through the ranks quickly.

When asked what he enjoys most about the field, Anas said: "Guiding nervous divers. It feels great when someone enters scared and comes out smiling."

Anas recalls a defining moment — seeing a Whale Shark in Pondicherry.

"It was so huge and gentle. I felt like a tiny thing next to it. That moment stayed with me."

Anas is certified in Open Water, Advanced, EFR, and Dive Master.

Anas spends a lot of time adjusting weights, checking masks, monitoring student comfort, and preparing equipment.

"Most beginners don't realize how much effort goes into making everything feel easy for them."
